JITRA, 2 August: Promotional events of the postgraduate programs offered by the SQS with the community continue. On 2nd August 2018, the next event was held for the staff of Kolej Komuniti Bandar Darul Aman (KKBDA), Jitra Kedah. The intention was to inform the prospective students with the academic benefits and opportunities that SQS offers.

The event is a part of awareness program which includes an introductory session to postgraduate programs such as Master of Science in Decision Science and Data Analysis that was delivered by the Head of Department (Decision Science), Dr. Syariza Abdul Rahman. The session also highlighted a list of potential research topics as opportunities for them to further their studies. This promotional event was very effective and successful to gain attention and awareness of the outsiders on the uniqueness of programs. Other members accompanying the team were Dr. Kamal Nawawi, Dr. Ruzelan Khalid, Dr. Mazlan Mohd Sappri and also Dr. Izwan Nizal.

According to Dr. Mazlan as the person in charge of the event, continuous efforts will be made to further publicize the programs among local and overseas prospective students. It is hoped that more promising students will get admitted to the programs in the academic year 2018-2019 and beyond.
