This programme aims to produce graduates who possess in-depth knowledge and skills for scientific and analytical decision making through quantitative and data science techniques, and are able to construct, analyze and visualize models for the best decision in various fields especially industry.
The goal is to turn data into information and information into knowledge, then knowledge into insights and insights into decision, using appropriate quantitative and data science techniques.

To equip graduates with digital and numeracy skills in delivering the proposed solutions effectively.

To produce graduates with strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to meet the needs of the industries.

To offer professional graduates in making ethically well-supported decisions and equipped with entrepreneurial skills.
from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 2.50; OR
A Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA of 2.00 to 2.49 and with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience, subject to an interview by the Postgraduate Committee; OR
Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the program and meet the minimum CGPA based on (a) to (b) OR
a diploma from any institution or higher learning recognized by the University Senate with at least ten (10) years of work-relevant experience, 35 years or older, and passed APEL assessment (level 7); OR
Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the University Senate; AND
Fulfill the English Language requirement as set by the University Senate.
