On August 9, 2022, at the EDC Hotel and Resorts in Sintok, the 5th Innovation and Analytics Conference & Exhibition (IACE2021) successfully submitted five themes of book chapters to UUM PRESS. A hi-tea was organized to officially submit the book chapters to UUM PRESS and honour the committees' efforts in organizing IACE 2021 in November 2021.
UUM PRESS representatives who attended the ceremony were Deputy Director Madam Rosma Ishak, officers from the printing and book sections, Mr Kashfi Wahab, Mr Azizan Ismail and Madam Siti Nur Dina Johary.
IACE2021 successfully submitted the five themes of book chapters, including Transformative learning in STEM Education, Recent Trends in Decision Making, Understanding Pandemic Challenges: Data-Driven and Computational Approaches, Accelerating Global Sustainability Initiatives through Data Analytics and Quantitative Models for Decision Making.
The contributors come from both local and international universities and institutes incorporating Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia, Sokoto State University Nigeria, Herriot-Watt University Malaysia, University of Santo Tomas Philippines, Istanbul University, Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Iraq, The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (RECSAM), ISEAS- Yusof Ishak Institute Singapore, Almutamaizeen Secondary School Bangladesh and Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta.
The Chairperson of IACE2021, Professor Dr Haslinda Ibrahim, expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the whole organizing team for making this event a success in every way and also emphasized the strategy for finishing the book chapters, which involved designating all the committees as the book chapters editors. With the inspiring words, "... Let's take your laptop, start writing, and see how creative you are," Professor Dr. Haslinda Ibrahim concluded her address.
The closing ceremony was commemorated by the speech from the Dean of School of Quantitative Sciences, Associate Professor Dr Mohd Kamal Mohd Nawawi.
