SQS PROJECT WON A GOLD MEDAL AT I-SPIKE 2021

 

23 Sept, SQS Online: The SQS Project 'ABRA-Maths-Early Mathematics Learning Via Mini Tennis' has won a Gold Medal at the International Exhibition and Symposium on Productivity, Innovation, Knowledge, Education and Design (i-SPIKE2021). I-SPIKE 2021 is organized by the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies (FSPPP), UiTM Kedah Branch Campus. It is designed to promote innovations through a virtual competition with the theme “Leading an Artificial Innovation in Knowledge, Education, and Design”. In embracing the wave of Industry Revolution 4.0, I-SPiKE 2021 provides an arena for creating generations of innovators and cutting-edge innovations at the intersections of collaboration, creativity and enthusiasm. The event welcomes participation of junior and young inventors from school and university, local and foreign academicians and industries respectively, to showcase their innovative products. The team had produced a video presentation demonstrating the uniqueness of the innovative product. The design has embodied ideas that are both forward thinking and transformational and have a practical application in the real world. The accepted submissions were judged by professional juries from industry and academia.

The Gold Awarded project led by PM Dr. Rahela Binti Abdul Rahim (SQS) with members Prof. Dr Haslinda Ibrahim (SQS), PM Dr Fauziah Baharom (SOC) and two collaborators, Dr. Mohd Rahizam Bin Abdul Rahim from the Faculty of Sports and Recreation Science, UiTM Shah Alam and Dr. Syahrul Ridhwan Bin Morazuki from the School of Education , Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM, Skudai, Johor. The project competes in category 1 which is Science and Technology in the academic inventor and professional group. A total of 101 entries in the categories competed.
