6 June 2023 : In a dynamic and interactive workshop held on June 6, 2023, twenty students from the School of Quantitative Sciences (SQS) in collaboration with the esteemed student’s organization, QUSAC. embarked on a transformative learning journey as they prepared to become facilitators for the upcoming Ace of Math program at Padang Serai Kulim Secondary School. The workshop, which served as a crucial stepping stone, aimed to equip the SQS students with the necessary skills and knowledge to guide their younger peers effectively.
The SQS students, chosen for their exceptional mathematical abilities and passion for teaching, eagerly participated in the immersive workshop. Led by experienced educators, Dr. Shanizan Herman, they delved into the intricacies of the Ace of Math game, mastering its concepts and objectives. Through interactive sessions and engaging discussions, the students developed a deep understanding of how game-based learning can enhance mathematical proficiency and foster a love for the subject.
Equipped with their newfound expertise, the SQS students will now serve as facilitators for the upcoming Ace of Math program at Padang Serai Kulim Secondary School, scheduled for July.
